Multiply – website on disciple-making put together by Francis Chan & David Platt–excellent, free curriculum to use in discipleship. I’m so grateful for those two men and how God is using their passion and example and pastoral wisdom to equip men and women with a Kingdom mindset.
The Leadership Institute – an excellent ministry which seeks to bring together spiritual formation and leadership development. Both my wife and I have participated in their retreats and training opportunities, and those have been truly transformative in our thinking and ways of living.
Desiring God – website of the ministry of Pastor John Piper, loaded with many sermons and other resources, all solid, Biblical, God-glorifying material aimed at increasing our satisfaction in Him.
The Gospel Coalition – collection of blogs and resources focused around the Gospel. I especially enjoy Justin Taylor’s blog and Pastor Kevin DeYoung’s blog. This is a regular go-to spot for finding solid, Gospel-centered thinking about the culture (and church culture) in which we live.
Christian Counseling and Educational Foundation (CCEF) – the aim of CCEF is to “restore Christ to counseling and restore counseling to the church”. In their words, “the body of Christ is God’s primary context for change, the community God uses to transform his people. CCEF’s mission is to equip the church to be this kind of transforming community.” Toward that end, they offer training (including online courses), conferences, blogs, and connection to local resources.
